ADMISSION INTO THE DIPLOMA IN NURSING SCIENCE & MIDWIFERY And
THE DIPLOMA IN MIDWIFERY COURSES:
Admission will be on the basis of the criteria prescribed by the Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (BNMC).
- Qualification (Diploma): The applicants must have passed both S.S.C & H.S.C or equivalent Examinations (GPA not less than 6.00 including both S.S.C & H.S.C examination) from any groups preferably Science from any board of Intermediate and Secondary Education or any other board of Bangladesh. The applicants must have GPA not less than 2.50 in S.S.C & H.S.C examination or vice versa.
- Degree awarded: Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery/Diploma in Midwifery certificate will be provided by the BNMC (Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council).
- The candidates will apply within 03 (Three) years of passing HSC or equivalent Examination.
ADMISSION INTO THE B.SC IN NURSING (BASIC) / B.SC IN NURSING (POST BASIC) COURSE:
There is an accommodation for the full capacity of students in each course in every academic session. Admission will be based on the criteria prescribed by the Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (BNMC).
The interested applicants must fulfil the following criteria for eligibility for admission. Applications should be submitted in the prescribed form (available at college office).
- Qualification (B.Sc in Nursing Basic): The applicants must have passed both S.S.C & H.S.C or equivalent Examinations (GPA not less than 7.00 including both S.S.C & H.S.C examination) from Science groups with biology subject (minimum GPA 3.00) any Education Board of Bangladesh. The applicants must have GPA not less than 3.00 in S.S.C & H.S.C examination or vice versa.
N.B: Applications are invited for admission in Diploma & B.Sc in Nursing Course, from the candidates having Test Score 40 or above in admission test. - Qualification (B.Sc in Nursing Post Basic): The applicants must have passed Diploma in Nursing/ equivalent Examinations from Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council.
- Degree awarded: Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery certificate will be provided by the BNMC (Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery council).
- The candidates will apply within 03 (Three) years of passing HSC or equivalent Examination.
On successful completion of the degree, the student is required to take the BNMC comprehensive examination for getting certificate and license as a registered nurse.
Document Process
Attested photocopy of the following documents must be submitted with the application form:
- S.S.C & H.S.C/Similar Examination Certificate or it’s equivalent Certificate.
- Marks sheet of corresponding examinations from respective educational Institution/Board/University.
- Nationality Certificate.
- 04 (Four) copies of recent color passport size photograph.
- Photocopy of Passport (Only Foreign Students).
- Photocopy of Birth Certificate or National ID.
