RCMC&H observed the 45th Aniversary of National Mourning Day as The commemoration of 15 August, 1975

Homage was paid to the father of this nation and country’s founding president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman recalling his struggle for the independence of Bangladesh as the National Mourning Day was observed across the country along RCMC & RDC on Saturday marking the 45th anniversary of his assassination.
On 15th August 2020, the 45th anniversary of the martyrdom of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning day was observed at RCMC and RDC premises with due respect and solemnity. On the occasion authorities had been enlisted few elaborated programs during the day time which were included: hoisting of the national flag at half-mast, wearing black badges, mourning rally, placing the floral wreath, discussion, documentary film show and photo exhibition.
Principal Prof. Dr. Shamsuzzaman along with Deputy Managing Director Md. Asraful Alam Alamin and other honourable professors placed floral wreath at the commemorative painting of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman first. A commemorative discussion program on ‘Bangabandhu & His Bangladesh’ held today at a conference hall in RCMC academic building.

 

All faculty members, students, doctors, Officers and Employees of Rangpur Community Medical College & Hospital created a wall of writings from their heart dedicated to the father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to observe the National Mourning Day.
